There is no need for any kind of anaesthesia.This cervico-vaginal impression allows the visualisation of tumour topography to later guide the positioning of the catheter for the radioactive sources. Acrylic mould fabrication: submersion of the cervico-vaginal impression into liquid plaster; splitting the dry plaster into two parts; varnishing the internal surface of the two halves; spreading the surface with liquid, synthetic, autopolymerized resin distributed in a thin layer; removal of the rough hollow applicator after drying.
