Scott Jerome-Parks thought he was
suffering from a nagging sinus
infection. When he learned in early
2005 that a cancerous tumour had
been growing on the back of his
tongue, his doctors and family
suspected a link with toxic dust
formed in the collapse of the World
Trade Center towers.
Mr. Jerome-Parks, a computer and
systems analyst, had worked nearby
and had volunteered at the site.
