HAZARD RATIOS
• OS, DFS and PFS report difference between experimental/control curves as Hazard Ratio (HR). i.e. ratio between events occurring in any given time interval with experimental compared to control treatment is constant • HR may not be meaningful if survival curves are not of similar shape • If HR <1 and the 95% confidence interval excludes 1,
there is a statistically significant effect of the experimental treatment as compared to control.
