Treatment intent - tips

• Decide on treatment intent at the start of treatment – Possible to switch from curative to palliative (e.g. if metastatic disease develops or patient unable to tolerate curative treatment) – Not possible to switch from palliative to curative

• Think of the norms rather than exceptions
