Decisional regret

• Factors most frequently associated with decision regret in multivariate analyses included – Higher decisional conflict

– Lower satisfaction with the decision – Adverse physical health outcomes – Greater anxiety levels

• If we measure that success of decision-making in terms of conflict and regret, we may favour easy decisions over rational ones.
