QoL Assessment

• QoL is subjective and depends on patients ability to adapt to a certain extent  QoL measures not the AE itself but the how it impacts on daily activities

• QoL includes psychosocial support networks and patient’s spirituality

• QoL and AE reporting are complimentary to each other

• This combination strengthens the patient physician relationship  Recognition of different goals  Overall survival, but at what cost
