• Image registration plays an important role for: • routine treatment planning • routing treatment delivery • Follow up, clinical studies, re-irradiation

• Consider the effect of rotations and anatomical changes

• There is no perfect solution: • use best registration algorithm for each problem • always include a visual inspection step in the process
