• Recalculates the dose, based on the plan parameters from the planning system (or v.v.)

• This will check (in theory) – Amount of monitor units

– Problems with plan normalization – Computation errors of planning system

• Third party software

– Lots of software around (small companies) – Check what it really checks – Test with intentional errors
