• Add volume parameters where relevant  e.g. V 20 Gy for lung

• For parallel structures, worth reporting more than 1 dose point  i.e. moving towards dose-volume reporting

• Essential to add units e.g D 50 %

or V 20 Gy

= dose covering 50% of the target volume

= volume receiving 20 Gy (or less)
