DVH related indicators: max dose in the OAR

• (Near) Maximum Dose 

It is used when the value of the value of dose is critical relatively independently from the volume  It is useful for organs where the impact of the dose is strongly influenced by a serial radiobiological organization

▪ It can be easily found by viewing the right extremity of the DVH, in this case 52.5 Gy ▪ It can be defined using a very small volume value for calculating the D [Volume]
