Statistical Process Control

 Statistical techniques to document, correct, and improve process performance.  A control chart monitors variation over time;  Compare current process performance with historical performance - based on ~25 samples.  SPC differs from setting specifications, although it informs process improvement and the ability to meet stated specifications.  A process is described as “in control” when its performance is predictable in a statistical sense.
