AO or AOA, age 16-70, ECOG 0-2 RT was to begin within 6 weeks from surgery and consisted of a dose of 45 Gy to be delivered to the planning target volume (PTV-1). Thereafter, a boost of 14.4 Gy (up to a cumulative dose of 59.4 Gy) was delivered to PTV-2 PCV chemotherapy consisted of up to six cycles of standard PCV chemotherapy and had to start within 4 weeks after the end of RT.
