EP and chemotherapy

• Direct evaluation of the response of EP to several chemotherapy agents has failed to demonstrate significant chemosensitivity • However, given the concern of radiation-related neurotoxicity in (very) young children, several trials of postoperative chemotherapy have been undertaken • Response rate to single agents is 11% , with < 5% complete responses , CDDP being the most active agent in phase II studies
