Accuracy and Precision Errors
or „true“ value
Error
Accuracy is the closeness of agreement between a measured quantity and its “true value.” Error is the difference between the measured quantity and its reference value. Note that error in this context is not to be confused with a production error or mistake . In the radiation oncology context, however, the word “error” tends to be used for both measurement errors and mistakes .
