INDICATIONS OF SALVAGE BT

1. Previously irradiated H&N cancer 2. Primary tumors arising in a previously irradiated field. 3. In resectable tumors, surgery should be considered first but with positive margins adjuvant re-irradiation with BT is acceptable 4. In patients ineligible for surgical salvage BT is an acceptable option provided that the coverage of the CTV is adequate and there is not advanced bone invasion, fistula or limited life expectancy.
