Pediatrics soft tissue sarcoma

Pediatrics RMS: very rare ( 6 cases / 1,000,000 population per year)

Objective : achieve cure with as low sequelae as possible

 Avoid mutilating surgery  Avoid EBRT (GI/GU/bone tox, unsuitable if < 2 y)

Local treatment should be discussed and planned from diagnosis and before any chemotherapy

(pediatrician, radiologists, radiation oncologists, brachytherapists, surgeons)
