Conclusion PN-AP has been successfully applied to a complex EHRT treatment protocol with a limited calibration dataset. The novel calibration process enabled intuitive adaptation of the automated protocol to the local planning aims and yielded plans more congruent with the oncologist’s clinical preference than traditional manual planning. Based on these results PN-AP has been introduced into clinical practice to support the effective rollout of EHRT for prostate cancer.
