From 43 parameters, only 19 features presented cut-off points with an adequate discrimination power (table 1) and were the only ones studied for the uni and multivariate analysis.
The probability of survival of patients was high, not reaching the median value for OS neither for DFS. OS at 5 years was 69.37% (95%Confidence Interval:5.52-7.09). DFS at 5 years was 59.9%(95%iIC 50.40-68.29%). The majority of the parameters studied were relevant in the univariate analysis for OS and DFS. GLZM-ZP is revealed as a prognostic factor for OS whereas sphericity resulted as a protective factor in multivariate analysis for LACC. GLRM-RLNU and NGLDM-Coarseness were significant prognosis factor for DFS (table 2).
Conclusion Texture analysis from primary tumor was superior to SUVmax, MTV or TLG as predictive factors in LACC treated with chemoradiotherapy. Nevertheless, more studies are needed to understand its biological significant. Texture cut-off values defined in this population cannot be extrapolated to other studies.
