Conclusion:

Biological treatment evaluation is a useful addition to standard thermal (dose) evaluation of hyperthermia treatments. It provides valuable additional insight in overall treatment quality, accounting for both temperature and time interval. Optimizing logistics aiming for shorter but feasible 30 min time intervals seems worthwhile to significantly maximize treatment efficacy. Future research will focus on evaluation of correlations between EQD RT and clinical outcome.
