Conclusion:

After 5 years of follow-up, there were no differences in swallowing QOL scores between RT and TORS. Overall toxicity rates were similar, but toxicity profiles differ. Oncologic outcomes were excellent, and long-term feeding tube use was rare. (NCT01590355)
