Conclusion:

This QA project has led to clarifications concerning how to contour target volumes and OARs via an updated GL to reduce interobserver variation. A follow-up QA project is planned to take place during the spring 2024 where the effect of the new GL is to be evaluated. When gross errors/discrepancies have been reduced, we aim to assess the remaining statistical delineation variations to validate the appropriateness of our PTV margins for rectal cancer patients.
