Conclusion:
The results suggest to us that radiomics can add an additional layer of information in surrogate models for lung function assessment. As previously mentioned, spirometry is a simple examination but subject to the patient's ability to be able to perform it. As respiratory comorbidities are common in this setting of patients, the possibility of using radiomic features as non- invasive markers of lung functionality may assist patients’ follow -up and implement spirometry-derived information.
