Conclusion:

Our data confirms that SABR is safe and effective treatment method also for very elderly patients with ES-NSCLC. This analysis corroborates the excellent safety profile of SABR in light of the very low rates of clinical-radiological pulmonary toxicity events. Patients with better pretreatment pulmonary function tests (FEV1 ≥ 90%) and PTV ≤ 35cc seems to derive the most benefit from treatment.
