Conclusion:
This case study reports the first in human BgRT delivery using the RefleXion X1 system in a clinical setting. The system's ability to deliver radiotherapy autonomously using real-time PET imaging with radiation delivery opens new possibilities for optimizing treatment accuracy and safety. Further investigations are warranted to assess the broader applicability of BgRT and its impact on patient outcomes.
