Conclusion:
Patients with IL or LEL can benefit from conventional palliative radiotherapy by preserving a stable functional status and pain relief.
A worse OS was mainly related to baseline modified McCormick grades 3-5, small cell lung cancer and LEL. Further studies with a larger sample are needed to identify the prognostic factors and confirm our results in LEL to decide the best management between active treatment vs. supportive care.
