Conclusion:

In conclusion, the study showed good 1-year and 2-year local control after SBRT treatment of bone metastases, while still maintaining a low acute and chronic toxicity rates. PTV volume was the only factor associated with worse local control after controlling for the other variables in the model. Bone metastases from lung cancer were associated with worse local control compared to bone metastases from prostate cancer or breast cancer. In our series of patients with oligometastatic bone disease, treated with SBRT, there was no difference in local control and overall survival according to oligometastatic disease classification.
