Conclusion:

Our observations suggest that this 4DMRI product quantifies motion within the respiratory cycle with high visual clarity, particularly for axial acquisitions. No significant differences in motion between 4DMRI and 4DCT were identified, and 4DMRI could be acquired for 100% of patients, compared to only 54% with 4DCT. We intend to incorporate 4DMRI AA into abdominal RT planning workflows at our centre. Further work is undergoing to compare ITVs generated using 4DMRI vs 4DCT.
