Conclusion:

Clinical prediction models are integral in helping patients make informed decisions about their treatment options while respecting their personal preferences. Current published prediction models for radiotherapy in rectal cancer have a high risk of bias and low applicability based on the PROBAST tool. The use of different measures of calibration and discrimination also makes direct comparisons between models difficult. Based on our findings, these models can serve as a guide for building a prediction model for CXB. We aim to report this according to the Transparent reporting of a multivariable prediction model for individual prognosis or diagnosis (TRIPOD): the TRIPOD Statement (8).
