Given the twice a day scheduling required for TBI and treatment time, more treatment slots on the LINAC were occupied which posed a challenge in our centre with two LINAC. To overcome this, radiation therapists were asked to work longer hours on rotation to ensure the overall patient service delivery was not compromised.
Conclusion:
TBI with VMAT is achievable with standard linear accelerators available in most middle-income countries. Effective treatment demands robust IGRT techniques and rigorous quality assurance to ensure accurate delivery of a plan with multiple isocentres.

Purpose/Objective:
Posterior fossa tumor (PFT) account for approximately half of all central nervous system (CNS) tumors in children [1]. Despite a high rate of cure, many survivors experience long-term neurocognitive sequelae [2]. This is because patients are affected not only by the tumor itself but also by the different treatments received (surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy (RT)). The aim of this work is to investigate the long-term impact of irradiation dose on memory brain structure integrity using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and consequence on memory performances.
