CHD/confluence or vessel involvement are rarely rendered resectable (fig 1b). The median OS of those who underwent resection is 49 months (95%CI 26.8-69 mo) versus 9 months (95% CI 8-10 mo, p=<0.001) in those who did not.

Conclusion:

NAT in unresectable GBC results in 10 % resectability rate. This approach has a potential of achieving R0, ypCR and nodal downstaging, potentially curative for those who undergo radical resection and should be actively explored in patients without CHD/confluence and vessel involvement.
