boost of 20 Gy in 5 fractions. One patient was managed with SBRT, receiving a total radiation dose of 20 Gy in 5 fractions. CRT regimens were based on gemcitabine (2 patients), gemcitabine + oxaliplatin (1 patient), FOLFIRINOX (1 patient), and capecitabine (3 patients). The median tumor diameter for patients with an overall survival exceeding 60 months was 3.0 cm (range: 1.8-10.0 cm). Remarkably, only one patient passed away due to LAPC, and this occurred 79 months after treatment.

Conclusion:

In our extensive cohort of LAPC patients, the rate of long-term survivors was 1.6%. Notably, all patients who survived beyond 60 months received treatment involving CRT and/or SBRT. Particularly, the group of patients treated with CRT and a subsequent SBRT boost exhibited the highest rate of long-term survivors. These findings shed light on potential treatment strategies for LAPC patients aiming to achieve prolonged survival.
