Purpose/Objective:
Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) is an accepted treatment for patients with oligometastatic prostate cancer (PCa). It has been shown to be effective in increasing Androgen Deprivation Therapy Free Survival (ADTFS) and Radiological Progression Free Survival (rPFS) in the context of oligometastatic recurrence following previous radiotherapy or surgery with radical intent in previous phase 2 randomised controlled trials 1,2 . We retrospectively analysed real world rPFS and ADFS for all patients treated with SABR for fewer than 5 metastases over a 7 year period at our centre. We then compared these outcomes for patients with different pre-SABR characteristics, aiming to elucidate whether any patient sub-groups derive particular benefit from SABR.
Material/Methods:
Every patient who underwent SABR for oligometastatic PCa at a tertiary UK cancer centre from 2015-2022 was captured via an electronic patient record. Patients on long term ADT (>2 years) at the time of SABR were excluded. ADTFS and rPFS were calculated for the entire patient cohort. The cohort was then categorized according to various pre-SABR characteristics and outcomes after SABR compared using Cox-Regression and Log Rank tests to determine any significant differences.
