Conclusion:
Our preliminary results show that approaching PCa with five-fractions SBRT delivering a whole dose of 36.25 Gy and a focal 40 Gy SIB to the mpMRI/targeted biopsy-defined DILs is safe and effective, with excellent adherence to the planning protocol. Data collected on a median 16-months follow-up suggest that this treatment is not associated with an increased acute morbidity. Longer follow-up is needed to evaluate tumor control and late toxicity. In this respect, further enrollment of patients is ongoing.
