Conclusion:

We concluded that pattern of upstaging was predominantly to extra-capsular extension and that pathological seminal vesicle invasion not visible on MRI was rare. Further work reviewing the extent of seminal vesicle involvement and diagnostic staging will help guide us if we can limit the volume of seminal vesicles delineated for radical radiotherapy in organ confined prostate cancer.
