Conclusion:
The study did not find a significant impact of ACEi administration on acute GU toxicity. Given that the bladder is within the clinical target volume, the use of chemoradiation might have overwhelmed any potential radioprotective effects of ACEi in this patient population. This study has inherent limitations, including its retrospective nature and a relatively small sample size. Further larger, prospective studies are needed to investigate this hypothesis further.
