Conclusion:

Correlations between relative bladder volume changes and virtual couch shifts are weak and mostly statistically insignificant. Shifts required were on average less than 0.3mm in each direction, suggesting satisfactory PTV expansion margins. Acute urinary toxicity rates were low and had no association with the magnitude of bladder filling or net shift. Treatment with a baseline empty bladder is feasible with daily adaptive planning utilizing ATS and ATP planning. Longer follow-up is required to determine tolerability and efficacy of this treatment approach.
