Purpose/Objective:
Although radical prostatectomy (RP) represents a curative treatment, 44% of pts experience BCR at least 6 months after surgery. While in low-risk pts the interval between surgery and BCR does not influence mortality, in pts with unfavorable disease characteristics early disease recurrence increases mortality risk. Aim of this study is to create a predictive model to identify the category of pts most at risk of distant metastasis to undergo early imaging investigations.
