Conclusion:

Uptake of Careology was good and most patients engaged regularly. As treatment progressed and toxicities increased, patient engagement in Careology decreased. Future work includes the ENHANCE study (NCT05785247), which will use mixed methods to explore factors affecting engagement and the clinical impact of digital cancer care platforms. Findings will inform strategies to enhance experiences of using Careology and optimise integration of Careology into routine clinical consultations, to facilitate value-based cancer care.
