Charlson comorbidity score. Improvement of personnel, technical and spatial equipment is not always enough to overcome fear in patients who are treated with radiotherapy. The findings reinforce the conclusion that patients experiencing a high level of fear and anxiety need organized professional monitoring by psychologists and psychiatrists trained to help oncology patients.
