Model performance was evaluated using the Dice Similarity Coefficient (DSC) [5] and Surface Dice measurement [6]. The evaluations were performed in Hero (version 2023.1.1).

Results:

A full summary of the results can be seen in Table 1, which displays the average DSC and Surface Dice for tolerance levels of 1, 2 and 3mm (± standard deviation) for all structures in the test set with comparisons of the model performance to both readers as well as the inter-reader variability. An example comparing the segmentation of the model and the readers is provided in Figure 1.
