Conclusion:

The presence of a magnetic field makes it necessary to apply correction factors to the measurements obtained with ionization chambers and diodes, which are also unsuitable for use in the Unity clinical flow. Gel dosimetry allows to perform end-to-end studies and to implement a methodology to perform routine controls or dosimetry audits in a fast and efficient way. Gel dosimetry is well suited for routine quality control procedures and can be an excellent choice for dosimetric auditing processes in the Unity system.
