Conclusion:

The early stages of OSL film trials shows promise in the future, but work needs to be done to make the accuracy and reproducibility better for clinical use. Since these are prototypes, the results were not expected to be perfect, but have shown a good baseline for what could come in the future. Agfa has plans to improve QC for its films and readers, including making the reader connect to the linac so it can automatically do fading corrections while scanning.
