filling densities (60%, 80%, and 100%). According to the Shore’s scale hardness of the filaments we used was: 70A (FilaFlex, Recreus), 20 ShD (PrintMe Flex), 82A (FilaFlex, Recreus), and 96A (Rosa Flex). Finally, a comparative analysis of 3D-printed flexible boluses was performed with the above-mentioned tests.

Results:

Variations of absorbed dose between 3D printed boluses (PLA) with different filing density and commercial ones is presented in Fig. 1. The difference depended on the density of filling and decreased with growing infill. For 80% and 100% filling density measured differences were within the range of measurement error (0,5%).

Dosimetric studies of flexible boluses confirmed that by using 80% and 100% filling, regardless of the flexibility of the filament, the differences of the measured dose were below the measurement error (0,5%) (Fig. 2). There were no clinically significant differences between elastic filaments.
