Conclusion:
In phantom, AAA dose calculation accuracy in GGO-lesions is significantly correlated with the CTR. The larger the GGO component, the worse the performance of the algorithm. In patient, however, the edge between the solid and GGO component is less defined, and AAA calculation accuracy does not seem to significantly correlate with the CTR. Thus, in clinical practice, no additional precaution is needed for the dose calculation of non-solid pulmonary nodules.
