Conclusion:
In the absence of a larger patient cohort, the dosimetric differences found make us consider the need to perform some type of respiratory control during treatments involving the GEJ area.

Purpose/Objective:
The use of volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) technique for breast cancer RT is becoming a standard in breast patients with axillary node involvement. However, VMAT technique has raised slight concern on the accuracy of treatment delivery due to inter- and intrafractional motion during treatment that is highly modulated [1], compared to static fields.
