Conclusion:
By means of simple routine a basic knowledge-based tool was created. Given three easy to interpretate parameters (EIV, PTV and GTV volumes) it is now possible to predict the coverage outcomes for CK pancreatic SBRT plans and to have at disposal a template for planning that represents a good starting point for the planner during the optimization process. Even if the data set is not huge it represents, for pancreatic treatments, a not negligible sample and studies on the subject report similar database dimensions [3]. Moreover, the program is user-friendly and new cases can be added easily, thus making also possible to improve its performances over time.
