Conclusion:
Using the described approach, it is possible to have a better understanding of the clinical effect of deviations between planned and measured dwell positions that are found during source tracking. The clinical impact of these deviations can be assessed after each dwell and anticipated before the treatment is fully finished. Clinical parameters of other smaller volumes (i.e. urethra and rectum) can also be calculated, but are more sensitive to measurement uncertainties, indicating that action limits should differ between structures to limit false positives.
