Conclusion:
HAP was superior to NL in assessing the extent of involvement of osteolytic spinal metastases, with a “Moderate” strength of agreement with MRI. HAP had inferior sensitivity to MRI but better specificity than MRI. HAP produced by DECT is a favorable image for defining the target volume of SRS in patients for whom MRI scanning is difficult.
