Conclusion:
The CycleCUT network was capable of generating sCTs from CBCT with image quality comparable to gt-reCT, resulting in proton dose distributions comparable to those of regular CTs. The sCT generation was fast, allowing for dose calculations on the daily anatomy in less than 2 minutes. Further evaluations will be performed before clinical implementation.
