Conclusion:
In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of addressing respiratory motion in pancreatic cancer radiotherapy. The significant correlation between marker motion and the PTV highlights the necessity of managing motion to enhance treatment effectiveness, particularly when marker motion exceeds 0.9 cm in FB. The observed differences in V25Gy and Dmean for OARs emphasize the potential benefits of incorporating the EXP GAT technique to reduce radiotherapy dose to these OARs. These findings advocate for the integration of motion management techniques in pancreatic cancer radiotherapy, offering improved treatment precision and hopefully lower the toxicity related to radiotherapy.
